T.A.I.S. – Chapter 2, part 2

…Then they finally made it to the lab.

“YAY! We finally made it! Now to choose my Pokemon!” Mikayla started to walk right into the lab.
An old man walked out of the building, and Mikayla took a step back.
“Hello, there,” said the old man. “I’m Professor Rowan. And hello, Paul and Reiji.”
“Hi, Professor Rowan!” greeted Reiji and Mikayla.
Rika said, “Yes, and we’re here to start our Pokemon Adventure!”
“Sure thing,” Professor Rowan answered. He looked at Angel carefully. “You must be Angel Koyuki.”
“Y-Yes, I am!” answered Angel. “But how do you know my name?”
“Your name is well known all over the Regions. Being the Champion.”
“Wow!” said Reiji, surprised. “You’re the champion of all Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn?! Amazing!”
She’s the champion?! Paul thought, as he looked at Angel. She must be really strong with that Jolteon. Probably she can beat me with just one move.
“Come in,” said Professor Rowan. “It’s time to pick your Pokemon.”

They went in. The lab was so spaced out. Three Pokemon sat on a cart, eating Pokemon food.
“I want Chimchar,” said Mikayla.
“Good choice for a fire-type, Mikayla,” said Persian.
Rika and Angel looked at eachother. They haven’t thought of a Pokemon to start with.
“Pip! Piplup!” yelled the water Pokemon. It was a Piplup. It wanted to be chosen.
Turtwig, the grass Pokemon, just sat there calmly, eating Pokemon food.
“Let’s see. In Kanto, I chose Charmander. And then in Johto, I chose Cyndaquil. In Hoenn, I chose Treeko. This means I haven’t gotten a water-type Pokemon as a starter.”
“So, you might as well get Piplup,” said Rika.
“Come on Piplup!”
“Pip!!!” Piplup jumped into Angel’s arms.
“Let’s go Chimchar!”
“Don’t forget your Poke Balls. You need it to catch other Pokemon.”
“You ready, Mikayla?” asked Reiji.
“Yes! I am!”
Rika, Mikayla, and Angel put their Pokemon in their Poke balls.
“Hey Angel, why don’t you put your Jolteon in its Poke Ball?” asked Reiji and Rika.
“I like it better when it’s traveling by my side. My best friend,” answered Angel.
“Aw! Cute!” said Mikayla.

When the gang was outside, they were ready for an Adventure. It was a start of a new beginning…
